Our story as an NDIS provider in Brisbane
We’ve spent decades working across aged care, mental health, and community support - on the ground and in leadership walking alongside people with disability and their families.
We kept seeing the same thing: people being treated like tasks, not individuals. Families feeling lost in a system. Good workers burning out under pressure.
So we created Kind Humans.
A place where people could feel seen. Where support means showing up, slowing down, and walking alongside someone without judgment or ego. Where the experience of being a participant, carer, or worker actually feels like it matters.
This isn’t about quick fixes or perfect systems. It’s about real people, showing up for each other with kindness, consistency, and a commitment to doing support differently.
Our values in action
Human kind
Kindness is about just being nice. It’s how we speak, how we listen, and how we treat people with patience and respect.
Human rights
That means standing up for people’s choices, championing inclusion, and making sure everyone is treated with dignity and fairness.
Human spirit
We support people to build skills, pursue goals, and live life on their own terms, not settle for less because of a diagnosis or label.
Human being
We take the time to be present, to listen, and to meet others as equals. We make room for messiness, humour, and being real.
Who we support through the NDIS
We support NDIS participants and the people who support them.
That includes carers and family members, support coordinators, and the support workers who walk alongside them every day.
Some people come to Kind Humans for a little help with daily life. Others are looking to build skills, confidence, and community. Whatever the goal, we’re here to listen, support, and offer care that feels genuinely human.

How we work
We don’t make big promises. We make real ones.
We know that seeing a familiar face matters; it’s our number one priority. And while there may be times you meet someone new, the values stay the same: kindness, respect, presence, and genuine care.
We work in ways that are flexible, honest, and human. Whether you’re receiving support or providing it, we want you to feel safe, valued, and seen.
It’s not about being perfect. It’s about being there and doing support in a way that actually feels like support.
